Dear customers and fellow South Africans
Last week there was a major political shift. On Friday 7 April 2017 South Africans will be taking to the streets in masses with peaceful signs of protest and going to political houses and to prayer meetings in the hope of governmental change.
Normally as a company we would choose not to enter into the political playing field. Unfortunately the current situation is so much more than the normal political tussle one would usually sit by and watch from the side-lines.
All of us as South Africans, no matter what religious belief, political party or race, are feeling the effects of a government that does not seem to have the interests of it’s people in mind.
While many of the stories seen on social media and in the press might be biased, there is a common message we must all heed.
The time has come for us to take a stand for change. There are very good people within the ruling government, as well as within its opposition. All of them strive towards one common goal: a better, safer, more inclusive and fair society.
We all know the current South Africa is far from this goal, and we need the right leadership to take us forward. The current head of state is taking this lovely country we all call home to a very dark and scary place.
At Salvocorp we have decided to close our offices on 7 April to allow our staff to peacefully protest in the way that they choose.
We appreciate your understanding and we urge you to support this worthy cause. Let us all play a part in creating a brighter future and a country we can all be proud of.
Kind regards,
The Salvocorp team
